Linux Periodicals: Online

Linux Gazette: This online periodical has been published since July of 1995. An excellent resource with content contributed by Linux Community members. Need an answer to a tough question? Check out the The Answer Gang they are the goto Linux professionals.

Linux Gazette - SSC: What? Two Linux Gazettes? Well, yes. There was a splintering of the original Linux Gazette gang and SSC (read more about it in this Linux Gazette Article. Still, even though they have gone their separate ways, this Gazette is also worth a look.

Linux Focus: Linux Focus is a multi-lingual online periodical that is published bi-monthly. Like both Gazettes, Linux Focus is packed full of Linux goodness no Linux user should go without.

Linux Periodicals: Print

Linux Journal: Linux Journal is probably the penultimate Linux magazine. Published monthly, Linux Journal can be found in the Lehigh Valley at Borders Bookstore on MacArthur Road in Whitehall, PA. But do not let that stop you from getting a subscription, or checking out the Linux Journal website which has a wealth of resources all its own.

Linux Magazine: Another popular, and vastly informative, montly magazine, Linux Magazine is chock full of reviews, interviews, and how-tos. Pick up a copy in the Valley at Borders Bookstore in Whitehall; or Wegman's Grocery Store on rte 512 in Bethlehem.

Linux World Magazine: Linux World Magazine is the new-comer to the Linux list of published magazines. LWM caters to the business class but also contains a significant number of technical articles. There is something for everyone between these covers. Copies can be found at Borders Bookstore in Whitehall and Wegmans Grocery Store on rte 512 in Bethlehem.

Linux Magazine: Europe: Do not get this magazine confused with the other Linux Magazine. This monthly comes from Europe and usually includes one or more cd's or a dvd with distributions of Linux and other software; although you can get a disc-less copy. Found only at Borders Bookstore in Whitehall in the Valley, and is a bit pricy (because it is an import). This is a fantastic magazine!

Linux Format: Like Linux Magazine, Linux Format is another European Linux magazine. This montly also comes with or without cd's or dvd's and is full of excellent technical articles, tutorials, and interviews. Again, this magazine can be found at Borders Bookstore in Whitehall.

Sysadmin: While not strictly Linux, Sysadmin caters to Unix administration. Published on a monthly basis, this is a must have magzine for Unix admins. Can be found at Border Bookstore in Whitehall.
