Re: Mumble VOIP

I'm not sure those advantages are worth the poor sound quality, but thanks for the reply Dan.

At least Asterisk lets you sing asynchronous Happy Birthday. Awesomely funny moment in TLLTS history.

Mumble VOIP

Have you guys considered using Mumble to record your shows? It is a group chat VOIP system, like Skype chat, but open-source. It is designed for online gaming, so it's very low latency, but voice quality is high. The latest version includes baked in recording functionality - http://blog.mumble.info/...

Re: Speex files downloaded with .ksh exstension

I had another go with gPodder and it still downloaded with .ksh. Turns out this is probably a gPodder bug . I still think you should change the feed to .spx as it means Rockbox will recognise it without renaming. Dave Yates uses .spx for LLL. Thanks for the show. I gave up on TLLTS for about a year,...

Re: Speex files downloaded with .ksh exstension

Thanks for the reply Dann.

I'm using gPodder. I'll take another look tonight, but I don't think Rockbox recognises .speex only .spx.

Speex files downloaded with .ksh exstension

I'm subscribing to the Speex feed (for my Sansa Clip+ running Rockbox), but the files are named with a .ksh file extension (e.g. tllts_374-11-03-10.ksh). I have to change this to .spx in order for the file to be recognised by my player. Please can you fix this?

Re: What do you want from TLLTS year 7

The 4m30s intros are getting pretty tedious. Recently, I have started to run the following command on the MP3s to split it up, so I can skip the intros and conventions chat (I'm in the UK, so couldn't care less about US conventions). mp3splt -t 4.30 -o @f_@n tllts.mp3 Other than that, more interview...

I listened again and found them in a few minutes: Thanks Dann. Ri-li looks perfect for my boy. He loves Thomas the Tank Engine.

Re: Which games did Dann recommend in #282?

Thanks Dann, but you mentioned a couple of games with shorter names. They sounded like the sort of thing I could play with my 5 year old boy.
