Check out a program called DnsMasq.
http://www.thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/doc.html

Most distros have it as an installable package. Its a simple DNS/DHCP server. Reads everything from a single config file and the hosts file.

It should be fine if you add a linux distro to it. I have SLAX on mine. Its on the same partition as my files and works fine.

If your looking for something cheap, look for a X100P on ebay. They're usually around $10. A lot of people have echo issues with those cards though.

Your best bet is to get something like a Sipura SPA-3000.

Can I tack onto this thread... How do you transfer a call ? Googling that doesn't provide much, strange. Is it # and then the extension ? Not working here.... By default it will only work for a incoming call. If you want it to work when you call out you can try going under General Settings. Where i...

If your going to do SMTP on your box at home its probably best to setup a smarthost to your ISPs SMTP server. That way other mail servers do not mark you as spam.

I use exim for that. Its has been very stable.

I believe it is port 5060 UDP and ports 10000 - 20000. I think those are UDP also. 10000 - 20000 is used for the audio streams.

Under inbound routes conference should be a choice.

Or you could have a phone ring then transfer the person into the conference.

Also you could setup voice prompts. Like press 3 to enter the confernce. You need to enable the IVR module to configure that.

This one is web based and supports RSS.

I've used it. It works well and since its for your mythbox you most likely already have mysql and apache installed.

I just installed Beryl/AIGLX on Kubuntu. Its really nice. Doesn't seem to slow anything down either like XGL/Compiz did.

Where did you get 0.1.2 or did you compile it? I could not find 0.1.2 packaged.

Do you have broadcast ssid disabled on the wireless access point? I've noticed that Network Manager doesn't like hidden SSIDs.

Both the radeon and the fglrx ones should work. Although if you want 3D support you'll need the ATI (fglrx) ones. The cards ATI dropped support for was the 9200 and under series. I've read the radeon driver can support 3d in those models, but I have not tried it. I work with 2 computers that have a ...
