Re: Suggestions on a Linksys WRT54G
i was looking into this myself this week. i was talking with a guy at my LUG last weekend. he said i may have been able to have the two antenna's on different channels. (to dedicate a different channel/antenna to two WIFI PC's in the house. possibly it would increase the throughput when sending data...

Re: TLLTS website redesign just for the World Cup
i thought it was funny as well.
you know i wish they would ban the cow bell things everyone brings to our local AHL games. i think making a racket bigger then the game itself makes some people feel like they are a part of the game. but yea, some of these noise maker gadgets are just too much.

Re: Episode 20 - Upgrades
Schedules Direct going to a pay service coincided with a move to a new house and i just never got around to setting the mythbox up again. wood floors, tile, and many gallons of paint have occupied my time. but, i'm 99% done with the house. so, i see me finally having spare time to sit and watch reco...

Re: Episode 20 - Upgrades

Re: Episode 344 and Android love

Re: Commodore makes a return
about a year ago i was doing just that, eddie. solder and C64's.
i pulled out an old 1541 drive, made an adapter to hook it to my Linux box (there are schematics online), and pulled some old programs off 5 1/4 floppies.
a fun project, and quite nostalgic.

Re: Palm going down in flames?
Not a rosy picture painted for Palm: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-20000764-94.html?tag=newsLatestHeadlinesArea.0 Bit of a shame because WebOS seems to be a pretty nice phone OS. So can we all agree Android is the best hope for Linux on the smart phone? i just heard an argument on CNBC. yea, PAL...
