Would anyone like an Archlinux sticker?
I printed some Archlinux stickers for a conference that isn't hapening this year. If you would like one, send me your mailing address. PM me here or send email to this account or stickers [at] computerrepairkona.com. I have about 30. There's no charge, consider it my contribution to the TLLTS commun...

Dan was in Psychology?
Interesting. I didn't know that. Contrats to Dan for being able to work at what he enjoys, Linux.
I think I'll try the vnc2flash too. That looks even better after reading Dan's article.

Great, thanks.
Thanks guys, I'll check it out. I'm trying to tell someone how to add/edit content on their Joomla site from across the country. A movie will be much better for them. They are not up to a VNC install on their own, this should be great.

How do you make the screen capture video tutorials?
I've been following along with some screen capture videos to start learning ruby on rails. I like the screen captures turned into the tutorial and want to make my own.

Thanks.
Great, thanks, now it's a keeper. Do you know of any another players that have an FM transmitter built in? I hear most of the external transmitters are pretty poor. That's probably the best feature of the Neuros. The FM transmitter is clear and really good quality and can be stereo or mono and is al...

I know it's been a while since you posted on this topic, but I have a few Iaudio questions. What is the Ogg supported quality? Is it everything or just low quality. Is it high Q ogg and low Q ogg? One of the tech show guys mentioned some players don't play 64 bit rate oggs well, but they play high b...

Writing from Ubuntu
Well I had to give up my clean Debian wish for the moment. After attempting the regular Debian install again, I had to back out of the setup when it asked me to choose a mirror again. I went to the steps after network setup and got so far as to partition and format the hard drive. However after part...

linux26 and screen shots.
I tried linux26 last night for a second time since starting all this, but that's not going to work at the moment. The linux26 method reports that I have no media when I get to the partitioning part. I tried the linux26 option from the begining, then started using the plain straight install method wh...

Haven't seen that screen.
I'll look for that screen. I don't remember seeing the choice. Just after the installation boots up it starts checking for disks, networking, etc. and I'm not given a choice of things to do. I can get to a menu on the back "button" after something fails.
Thanks for the reply.

Debian ISOs - Suposed CD install
How do I get beyond the Debian Sarge default network install garbage when I only want a CD install? I can add my network stuff later. I already searched the debian lists.debian.org and haven't found but one message about this problem. Since you guys are always talking about installing every distro u...
