Cowon S9

I have had two cowon media players and think they are great. The ones I have had are just plug and play with linux. Well I had my D2 in my pocket and it fell out and I ran over it with my bike tire. It is trash. Does anyone have any experience with the S9? It is the latest and greatest. Does it work...

I will also get an extra 250m. I mean it is an free storage that you can use for what ever. If you want one ...

Re: linux for the small business (i.e. medical office)

WOW! I was actually wondering what you were using for the backup. I mean like tape or a dedicated computer as the backup host. As far as the software is there any kind of file locking? I have a network in my house but I don't use thin clients or ltsp. I am able to use ssh -C -X to access everything ...

That is pretty cool. What kind of software apps are being used? Is there a backup solution?

Re: looking for music player

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I like the cowon and have one myself, but it does not take the sd cards. The micro sd's are a little hard to keep track of and even harder to label. I really would like to find a cheapy that takes an sd.

looking for music player

I remember several years back there was a music player that would accept a sd card. I think it would only play mp3 files. I would like to find something like this so I could store my audio books on sd cards. Most of those are mp3 anyway, it is hard to find ogg audio books. Does anyone know of a play...

Re: ABI Research :2012 Linux to out number Windows on Netbooks

I just got my asus netbook. Unfortunately I had to buy one with winbloze$ installed. I never booted it with that os, I immediately installed eeebuntu. This causes me to think, I know dangerous. I wonder how many other netbooks have been sold with winbloze$ where it has never been booted. I bet more ...
