Re: what happened to h4cked?

No idea. They've stopped releasing new episodes and didn't show up at OLF like they said they would. Best guess is real life has gotten in the way. It happens. Hopefully they come back soon. I enjoy listening to their show.

Re: IT Crowd anyone?

Watched the 4th season on IFC here in the States. First time as far as I know that's it's been televised. The first season I downloaded off of bittorrent and enjoyed them a lot. Wish the seasons were longer.

Re: Zotac ION as a front end

I love my Zotac Ion box. It works great. My box is the faster first generation model (the A-U). Faster is always better but honestly I hear people having great results even with Acer Revo which has the slower single core processor.

Re: Episode 25 - Cablecard in Linux ?!

Nice card. Unfortunately Time Warner has the local monopoly and I would probably get no use out of this promising capture card. Sucks for TW customers. I recommended to Jeremy that they have a cable provider compatibility list on their web site for potential customers. Silicon Dust does a very good...

Re: Real reason why Netflix is not on Linux (article)

Its always about the DRM. From a technical standpoint there is no obstacle to a Linux client. Novell did all the work for them. Supposedly an Android app is in the works. Perhaps running it in a VM or some kind of hack can be implemented to get it working on a regular linux system. My blu-ray player...

I have a Canon LiDE 60 that I've had for about 4 years that's always worked out of the box with any Linux distro I've used.

XBMC has no sound playing MythTV recordings

Decided to try XBMC on my Zotac MythTV frontend. Install was simple as it's in the Ubuntu PPA repos. My remote works out of the box. Added my location sources for music, videos and MythTV recordings. My MythTV recordings have no audio. Recordings are made with PVR-1212 and HDHomerun. The audio was s...
