sending shows to other mythtv users

hey guys, i just found the podcast and its been a real help. the web interface to setup QAM channel was a real help.

anyway my question is: is there anything that allows me to send or receive recorded programs through the mythtv frontend ? any plugins or scripts of some type ? i know i can just find the shows on another source and import them into mythvideo (thank you hulu downloader) but it seems like something like that could be done easier/simpler in the frontend.

i own an old ReplayTv 5040 and one of my favorite features (beside commercial skip) was that if i missed a show ,i could login to http://www.poopli.com and request the show i missed. if a user had the show they just added me to their address book and the show arrived within a day. i made the move to mythtv about 6 months ago but have not found anything like that.

Interesting idea. As far as I know MythTV does not have this functionality. My question would be concerning it's legality. I'm sure something could be coded doing what you describe in some sort of plug-in. Not sure if the MythTV devs would want to take on the risk.
