I totally agree. The plasmas have the best pictures with the most natural looking skin tones. Honestly the bump from 60 Hz to 120 Hz in LCDs is minor. It's much more noticeable when you look at the new 240 Hz LCD models. These 240 Hz LCDs are a couple hundred more than the 60 & 120 Hz models. In a bright room LCDs might be a better choice though. In the end the eye is the final judge. It's unfortunate that a lot of these stores have a shitty feed going to all the tvs. At least Best Buy has a consistant 720p signal going to all of them. Makes comparing them easy. Too bad BB tends to be overpriced.lobosolo wrote:i went with an LG 42" plasma last year. i read a lot of articles and such about the best or that. in the end i just compared contrast ratio's and went to best buy to look at their screens to compare. i just found the one that looked the best to me.
Great price. I would love to read your review.Patrick wrote:I wound up buying the Samsung LN40B550 for $682. I'll post a review after a week or so. So far I'm loving it.
