Hi,

On my Lucid Lynx beta 2 VM I get the message in the screenshot below. What steps will be required to get a Lynx frontend talking to a Koala backend?

As far as I know the frontend & backend have to be running the same version of MythTV. The databases are NOT compatible between MythTV releases.

Yeppers, I sadly went through this and reinstalled 9.10 on the FE.

However, crazily one week later installed the 10.04 beta on both the FE and BE.
I'm very happy with the results excepting for the HDHomerun deal which has me down to only one of the two on-board tuners.
However, I think this is really a Myth .22 vs .23 issue.

They have been patching like mad, and I'm about see if it's been fixed.
