Successful inplace upgrade

Hello All,

Thought I would report that I did an in-place upgrade from Karmic to Lucid this weekend. All went smoothly on both my master backend/frontend and also my secondary backend. I was very hesitant to do this on my be/fe machine as this is also my home file server. Before starting the upgrade I did make a installable copy of my Karmic install using Remastersys in case of problems. The whole process took about three hours, mostly because I would walk away and not be there to click on pop-up questions/options. I even went out and mowed the yard thinking it would be finished when I got done. After the reboot everything was working. The nVidia driver was even installed.

Kudos to Ubuntu for making this upgrade very painless.
