At 23:54 of episode 22 Robert McNamara states that the HDHomerun phones home. Anyone have any insight into that?

• How often
  What data does it send
  What is the IP address or domain name of the server(s)

I don't think I care about it phoning home if it helps further develop what is already a great product. I'm curious more than concerned.
