OK, I know this is preaching to the choir, but I'd like to remind everyone that today, October 3rd is the day against DRM. I was at the protest at the Apple store in NYC on Saturday and I met a few people there who encouraged me to spread the word.
I'm a bit torn about the DRM issue. I know that it is bad, and I would like to not support people who support DRM, but at this point, do I have a choice? Sure, I refuse to buy music off of iTunes or Napster, but if I do want to get a portable music player (I have an iPod), can I really escape supporting a company that supports DRM?

Of course you can. No DRMed music has touched my iAudio since I got it. I use AllOfMP3 (I'm a sucker for the high quality Vorbis support) but you can also still get Audio CDs, or use eMusic, Magnatunes, Audiolunchbox, or any other service.
