Hello Everyone,

JWP here the Transplanted Texan living in Southern Germany. Texas is were you make brothers.

I am using 10.1 Suse open linux.
I have been listening to you all for about 3 months.
I also listen to the linux action show. (They were on your show)
Novel open universe podcast and one learning about linux pod cast.

Yes I am a linux learner.

I like the interviews.
One thing that I would really like to see in your show especially since it runs for two hours is the following:

a. Angenda (What will happen in the two hours)
b. A news section. Much like the linux action show. But I would like all of you to do a brief news. Especially Dan :)

Much Love to you JW

Those are great suggestions. What I miss since I've been listening for so long is the tech talk that the guys used to do about what they were doing personally with Linux. Some things that I remember:
- Pat talked about how he set up his first myth box using the tutorial for Fedora Core 3.
- Allen talked about how he set up his myth box on Slackware.
- Dann used to give distro reviews of different things he would try on his machines and his apple laptops.
- Linc would describe how he was able to use a Slackware server at work to save the day.

etc...

I thought we would get a little more of that when they moved the interview to the beginning of the show, but now with the extended two hours and the change in format often they just do the interview for two hours. Would there be any way to get a little more time in there to talk about your personal stories.

Some examples would be things you could talk about in more detail from your blogs:
- Linc: Talk about his wows with the Trixbox and what configuration files he changed. Setting up a Samba file server at home. Update on how the daughter enjoys the emac and if she has let him switch it to a ubuntu box. A Slackware 11 review.
- Pat: Could talk about the install on his recently returned laptop and why he chose the distro he did and how it is working. What you have been doing in the video editing area.
- Allen: Well, I'm not sure Allen, nothing jumps out that you have mentioned briefly, except you could go into detail about configuring and different programs you have used on the Nokia 770.
- Dann: Probably, don't have much new right now because of your move, but maybe talk about what needed to be done to move the server over to a new provider if anything, or did you just turn it on and it worked?

I love the show. I will keep listening no matter what format they have. The interviews are great and I feel they get more of a personal feel and emotion from the guests because of their style. I just always enjoy the 4 hosts talking about their experiences because they are amazing power users of Linux and do things on Linux that I have never done. They also know their stuff.

By the way, LOVED the comment (the public service announcement) by Dann about how you guys know how to change the Ubuntu theme, that was classic on the last show.
