Hello all,
I started off as a LUGRadio listener and am finally getting around to listening to the Tech Show. I'm up to episode 61 and am really enjoying it. I dump 8 or 10 episodes on my USB pen drive, and take it with me to get me through the work day. I just have to make sure I don't laugh out loud when other people are around.
My question: What the heck is the wa-wa? I've heard Dann on more than one occasion talk about "going down to the wa-wa," and I'm curious. I'm sure it's just a local thing or a nickname for something else, but an explanation would make my life better.

Wawa is a convenience store like 7-11 or Circle-K. Interestly enough wawa is also a Puerto Rican slang word for a bus. The correct Spanish word for bus is altobus.

WOW, thanks Patrick.
Where else can you get an answer in 19 minutes on a Friday afternoon?
THere's a place around the corner from me called the Jo-Mart, but it's the only one I know of. We've also got lots of UDFs and Dairy-Marts.
