Mysterious system beeps on my laptop

When I turn on my ThinkPad, I get 4 beeps, followed by 2 more after I enter in my password. I'm really stumped as to what it means. I've looked at the section on ThinkWiki that describes the various error codes, but none of those seem to match what I'm getting.

I made a little recording with my Samsung audio player, and posted it up on YouSendIt so you guys can have a listen.

IIRC there's a setting in the BIOS for different kinds of beeps - one of them is password. This might be affecting you.
