Interview the Top Puppy: Barry Kauler

Post by Jza » Mon Nov 13, 2006 8:47 pm

I want to promote a really cool guy to interview. His name is Barry Kauler and is the creator of the distro Puppy Linux. Puppy linux is one of the popular minimalistic distros that are ideal either for slow system or for tiny spaces. Distros that fit on an USB drive, Flash cards and Creditcard-size CD-R.

Next to DSL, Puppy enjoy of a very healthy community and very eager to talk about puppy linux.

Hope you guys can get in touch with Barry.

I'd like to second this one. I really like puppy linux, and I'm thinking about getting an ancient laptop just so I have an excuse to put something as lightweight as puppy on there. I really like the tools they have for setting up things, for saving changes back to the CD-R, or for installing to hard disk or thumb drive. Great stuff.

I have sent email to him. FYI, this isn't the first time I've tried contacting him. I've also tried numerous times to get the DSL guys to come onto the show.
