Thor has a Mac Mini, although I know for a fact he doesn't run OS X.
Oh yeah, it runs OpenBSD, no non-free software on my Mac, damn it!

some of the SIP codecs such as aix which is the optimal sound codecs on the asterisk server also are prorpietary. the sip protocolo unfortuantely is a bit too much specially when you have to fine-tune your firewall.

Also there is no 64 bit version of Gizmo, and no a 32 bit chroot for one application is not a solution :P

You don't need to do a chroot anymore to run 32 bit apps on a 64 bit OS. For Debian based systems do the following:
sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture packagename_i386.deb

Besides the package dependencies you'll need the IA32 compatibility library which usually comes by default with most 64 bit Linux distros.

I was not expecting this thread to be mentioned on the last show, so now we cannot really get out of it :P

When do you lot have at least one hour spare free time?
From today, i have three weeks off from university, so i properly could do it anytime , as long as i get a few days advance warning.

I have school and internship till about 5pm every weekday and usually work wednesday and friday till 10pm and on saturdays from 11:30am to 6pm.

I am in Maryland so all those times are EST (GMT-5) and if those times don't work than its fine to go ahead without me.

There we go.. all registered up and rarin' to go!

I've been speaking with allix on IRC and jabber, and I'd like to join our little conversation as well. It'd be nice to have a few people on anyway. I've installed Ekiga, so now I have to configure it and we can go.

Not today though.. it's way too nice a day to spend indoors. ;)

I can do tuesday afternoon around 3-ish.
