TLLTS Fragfest

Post by Wally Balljacker » Thu Apr 05, 2007 1:49 pm

This was brought up on the show last night, and I thought it was a cool idea. Maybe someone could set up a UT2004 server, and we could get a little Tech Show war going on? :)

Perhaps a little Quake 3 action?

Sounds cool, count me in, although I'm gonna have to get a new graphics card so I can actually play the game! :P

I'm sure that ATi Radeon you've got in your laptop could handle Quake 3. Probably even with the free driver.

Yep, I got it all working nicely, and extremely smoothly, at 640x480. Not much of resolution, considering the native resolution of the display is 1024x768, but it's not actually something you notice unless you want to notice it.

Anyway, I'm up for a few rounds of Quake 3! But I warn you guys, I am farly good at this game!

Count me in. Sounds like a great idea. Plus it would give us something else to talk trash about in irc

Maybe it could be done after the #tllts recording?

I tried getting some people together for some games but didn't get too many people to participate. It would be great if we could get a bunch of people. I love Sauerbraten and Nexuiz which both have online play. There's also Warsaw, Tremulous, and Quake 4 as well.

So you've given up your idea after one false start?

not at all, as ive mentioned on the #techshow post and on irc that gizmo crashes.
If the programs that i mentioned are not suitable , especially the last one, i found a few articles on how to record skype conferences.

Perhaps Saturday we could try again?
