Can you suggest a podcatcher and tv episode torrent catcher?

Post by kernoman » Sun Apr 29, 2007 2:28 pm

Ive recently downgraded my server to a linkstation 2 running debian and need to find a command line version of 2 programs that i use,

I used to use icepodder to grab my prodcasts and tedtv along with azureus to grab my tv torrents, can any one recommend a replacement for these, they have to be command line with or without a web interface.

I know bashpodder exists but I want to be able to specify what episodes of a podcast i want to grab, from memory the last time I used BP it tried to download all the podcasts a show had ever put out..

Heres hoping!

Cheers

There are user contributed versions of BashPodder that will only grab the latest episodes.

Here's one:

rtorrent is your Bittorrent client. Really easy to use, feature rich, and command line driven. I use it for all of my bittorrent needs, and I would never consider using anything else.
