Welcome back! You do sound a little refreshed.

I wish the Dell guy could have been more specific on a few things but there's only so much he's going to say, especially about sales. It's amazing that he doesn't even have a summary support issues so far. Maybe there are none, or no single one that is enough to be reported to him.

One interesting thing was how few people they have dedicated to Linux and that offering Linux required no hardware customizing at all. It costs so little for a company like Dell to offer Linux.

Another interesting thing is why they separate Linux on the web site. It makes a lot of sense that they don't have Windows and Linux side-by-side when checking options. A lot of people would choose Linux just to save $50, having no idea of what they are getting into and that would be a tech support nightmare.
