Regarding Linc's issue with Folding@Home

Post by Wally Balljacker » Fri Nov 23, 2007 5:27 am

On Wednesday's show, Linc had ranted about how he has folded over a hundred units, and he's still ranked below some people who have folded less units.

So, what you can do is, run "./fah6 -config", and tell it to download bigger work assignments. Of course, these will take longer, but you get more credit for them.

Code: Select all

Acceptable size of work assignment and work result packets (bigger units
may have large memory demands) -- 'small' is <5MB, 'normal' is <10MB, and
 'big' is >10MB (small/normal/big) [big]?
