Beth sure is one smart chick.
She is a woman after my heart when she talks about using old computers such as old Pentium II class computers. . Though I wish she had mentioned how those old p2 computers make great diskless thin clients that could save small businesses and school systems a boat load of money.

It was definitely nice to have her on the show. I've seen her at OLF before but never got to talk to her. She always seems busy.
I laughed when she talked about her first Linux distro. My first distro was a version of Caldera (3.1 I think) that I found in back of a book on Linux published by Sams (I think). I installed it OK and played with it for a while, then quickly upgraded to Red Hat 5.2.
Another thing that occured to me is this is 2 women on the show in less than a month. That's probably more than we've heard in the last year.
The wonderful world of Linux is definitely expanding beyond it's all-male, geeky origins.

Yes definitely more women!!!! Beth did very well under fire from Pat and Dann. I do not know whether she was forewarned of that though. I love intelligent women. You do not have to explain everything to them and they get the subtle hints as if they could almost read your mind.

Maybe we should consider letting them vote.
