Google Android G!

Even if the Google Android G1 will obviously have a second version and so on and so forth. Would it not be a good business investment to get one now to start programming it to develop a clientele. Since it works with wifi and there are so many wifi points. I see some opportunity there also. Who needs the monthly contract. What development packages besides google does anyone recommend for the g1?

I think it's more likely that lots of good apps will be ported or developed as free software. I don't see a lot of revenue potential unless you want to invest a lot of time and energy into something great.

The only reason people can make money on iPhone apps is that Apple controls the market so much that true open applications can't dominate.

The open source model does really work in an open market.
