Considering this is my alma mater and where linux is used throughout the college, this really disappointed me. The college uses beowulf clusters in various departments, which they named bubbawulf.

Hmmm... What I wonder if they sought out asterisk support from a vendor. There are tons of them. Alas, I can understand why they went back to Cicsco, their main asterisk person(s) took a job with Digium. Win for him, kind of a loss for the University and Asterisk overall. But I suspect Asterisk is doing just fine without them.
