The Hauppauge PVR-1212 is not natively supported by the Linux kernel. You won't have to compile the driver yourself. All we need now is for Myth 0.22 to be released and we're golden.

Hi Patrick, Linhes final version will be out in feb of next year..do i have that right? Scale7 is feb 2010 according to site? Have the PVR 1212 now and was itching to start my first myth setup...what would u say is the best of the 3 that's out now? Thanks and sorry for the newbie questions! 2 guys i work with have them..1 uses ms and the other Sage..i really want to use Linux. Though i hear Sage will work under Linux Mint.

When Circuit City went out of business, I bought a digital card real cheap. It will be interesting to see if it works also. I have not even taken it out of the package yet.
