Computers are robots without arms or legs.

I was thinking about bashpodder and and how it retrieves files. Then I thought, instead of retrieving files why not retrieve commands for a computer to execute. I played with twitter and was able to write a batch tile that would download tweets, translate the commands and then execute them. No ssh required. What would be even more interesting would be to set up an account on an mswindows forum to leave messages with an addendum with an encoded command for a remote computer to execute. Since it would be part of a normal message, no one might be the wiser. Some people say the code should be published, but it is to easy to make it a bot without escalated privileges. It is so much fun to make an mswindows machine a slave for a 'nix network.
