Hi everyone,

This is one for the moderators/administrators really - is there any reason that you have stuck to the standard phpbb style? There are loads of really good themes available for download for phpbb, and was wandering why no-one here had used one of them?

I use phpbb for another forum that I run, and there is so much that can be done with it, I was slightly suprised that this forum full of skilled enthusiasts has stuck with the original format.

This is not meant to be derogatory in any way though, so please don't think that it is - this forum is excellent!

-Gordon.

It used to be customized, but it's reverted to default lately. I'm sure it's a minor technical problem.

Hopefully someone who knows what they're talking about will answer you soon. :)

Sheer laziness.

But now the jig is up. I'll get around to it soon.

Yeah we definately need to change this. At least the logo. If you need any help customizing the forum I can help. I know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL (and a few others that dont apply here) and I used to be a forum admin and I loved hacking it up a lot ;-)

Don't know if its related, but now when I click "log me in automatically each visit" it doesn't work. I'm very mildly annoyed by having to waste 3 seconds per day entering my ID/Password. :)

;what browser are you using? i would check your cookie persistence in your preferences. some browsers will dump your cookies after you end your session.

IE at work, Firefox 1.07 at home.

I have not changed my browser settings. This change (in funcionality) happened at the same time the customizations to the PHPbb disappeared. Could be a coincidence, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Hmmm... I'll look into it; but I don't think anything changed there. I'm always logged in when I visit the forum.

I read most of the posts in my aggregator and when I hit reply, I'm always logged in regardless of what system I am on at the time.

If Dann says my stuff is busted, my stuff is probably busted. :D
I'll check on my end.
