Yes poor programers can't give the luxury of using fancy programing languages like php or perl, let alone jsp and/or coldfusion.
So poor programmers do stuff the only way they know how, the geeky way. So poor programmers go to awk, the long lasting, forever obscure language of another world.
Yawk is exactly that, a wiki programmed completely in awk, any httpd so dont even think apache, use something slimer like mini httpd.
