LINE-EX guy (aka Adrian Bacon) responds

Post by Patrick » Wed Dec 22, 2004 7:51 am

I posted a comment on Adrian Bacons website about his pronunciation of linux and he responded back to me with the following:

LOL… Sorry about that… I know how it’s supposed to be pronounced, but it never comes out that way when I say it. I don’t know why… I’ll try to fix that…

If this is the worst of the complaints I’m gonna get, then I can’t be doing half bad…

At least he realizes it :)

That would be great if he could correct himself. Then I could re-subscribe to his podcast.

Wow, unsubscribing to a pod-cast due to mis-pronounciation.

Tough crowd.

Now I KNOW you're winding me up. However for historical reasons:

Not to mention how you pronounce 'Ubuntu' - you should've read the FAQ on their website.....

It's not 'ewe-bun-too', it's 'oo-boon-too'......
