Looks like the guy claiming he could compile Firefox on Gentoo faster than the amount of time it'd take to start it up on SUSE, can look forward to his vision being true when comparing a new monster PC to today's PCs.

Hmm, with a 500 GHz proc, who needs binary distributions? You could do a stage 1 Gentoo install in under 3 minutes.
