apparmor

Post by jsusanka » Thu Jul 27, 2006 2:48 pm

has anybody uprgaded suse10.1 to the latest kernel?

well I did and now my apparmor profiles seg fault whatever process they are protecting

for example I made a profile for httpd-prefork but when I enable apparmor and restart apache2 it seg faults but ran fine before the kernel upgrade

I getting the same for all of them like portmap, ssh, etc

I currently have it disabled but would like the feature back with the newest kernel. :x

Along with the kernel update, you should have gotten a bunch of AppArmor updates as well.

reloaded all the updates and when I try to start a service with apparmor enabled I get this in the message file

jms kernel: Unable to load interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

I have to admit, personally I have no idea what the problem could be, I think you should try posting about this on the openSUSE mailinglist.

already did - I think it has something to do with the libraries being 64 bit -

I upgraded my other p4 machine and all is well with that and apparmor -

I will try a clean uninstall of all apparmor stuff and then install it again maybe a 32 bit library got in there or something.
