Okay, one last word about OSS on MS. This may be common knowledge, but I'd missed it in the past. If you stick an Ubuntu CD (breezy badger anyway) in a windows machine you of course get the the choice to install Open Office, the Gimp and Thunderbird/Firefox.

But there is also a link to http://www.theopencd.org. Which is loaded with OSS stuff.

Like I say, I guess I've seen this before and just discounted it, but this seems like a hell of an idea - something you could pass out to people and get them to use very easily.

Yup. I've handed a few of those CDs out over the last couple of years.
