Might just be my system, but the ogg files sounded really awful. I've been downloading MP3s recently. :-(
Maybe I'm just imagining things, so I'll try again before I make my decision. Seriously though, unless you're being sued by Thomson there's not too much harm in keeping up how it's going.

Clarification, I was referring to the last episode only.

The only reason why I want to stay with mp3 is that I do not have enough money to buy a new player just yet.

Just to add to this..... what about Speex files
This would be the most obvious format to use and the file size would be so small compared (~ 33% of the size at med settings) to both mp3 and ogg and better quality.

Yeah, but then what about the music and non-speech oriented content that gets played on the tech show? I don't know, to me using speex for a radio show would hamper what you could play in the future, if you know what I mean?
I think that makes sense.

Point taken. It does encode music, just not very well.

Definitely keep MP3s. Yes, there are portable players with OGG support, but there's not many. The Rio Karma had enough problems/complaints to make me go get an iPod instead.
There will come a time to make a stand for OGG, but it's not now.

Keep the MP3's. I've got a Pioneer cd deck in my car that only plays MP3 and <hack, cough, barf> WMA. Untill they start making OGG players please keep the MP3's. If not my 1hour commute is gona get boring <again>. Thanks for the "GREAT" show. Of course I could always convert it over, but who wants to loose sound quality?
