Well, you've said several times that yum downloads all the headers every run when it hasn't done that since about Core 2. Yum is ass slow out of the box. Is that not the truth? I guess it's a good thing you weren't there when we were talking with the Fedora guys. Guess what we told them? I'm sure that it wasn't the first time they heard complaints regarding yum. Yeah, when I talked to them the first thing out of their mouths was that yum would be faster in FC 6. I agree it's slow, it just doesn't bother me.Patrick wrote:Yum is ass slow out of the box.
