Definately got GCC by default. I build RPM's on my system (only with checkinstall though, haven't got into the full deal)

My headless server runs Mandriva, does:

POP3
IMAP4
SSH
HTTP w/php
FTP
DHCP
DNS
NFS
SMB
IPTABLES (with a bash script)

Server i setup at work is the same, running some of the protocols above in a small office environment.

And you just can't beat the Mandrake Control Centre

Ok thats good, I'm glad they've improved it.
