I just recently unsubscribed from the mp3 feed. Whenever I want to listen to an episode of TLLTS on my PSP, I convert the ogg file with amaroK to a 38 kbps aac file. There isn't a big loss of audio quality and converting with amaroK is very easy and quick so there is no reason for me to listen to the mp3 version. The result is a lot better than converting an ogg to an mp3.

I haven't downloaded the high quality ogg for the last episode yet but it is cool that you guys are making high quality ogg files.

I don't think they'll ditch the normal quality mp3, this poll was about deciding on a format for the high quality version.

Why not just host the WAV files? That way everyone can encode it however they want.

Dude, what exactly do you smoke?

A two hour show in WAV format, that would be hundreds of megabytes!!!

Last night's wav is 753 mb. That's a lot of disk space. If we had a number of mirrors it might be doable. Still, that is a lot of time to dl compared to the hbr ogg.

Yeah no kidding, and I don't really see a benefit in hainvg the wav, the HQ OGG sounds great.

HECK NO! If you really want to go with lossless use FLAC since it is free and uses a lot less filesize. However I like the high quality OGG

Yeah me too, I think it sounds great, and come on, you don't need the quality to be that high to play it on a portable player, unless you're using some very expensive headphones you will do with the normal quality mp3. Let's face it, earbuds are really crappy sound quality and will destroy your hearing in the end

Oh dear God no! I don't think I could listen to all those bodily functions in lossless. The high quality OGG is gross enough.

I think that you should keep low bitrate OGG & MP3 and then create a high-quality MP3 only. This is because you said that the high bitrate MP3 sounds better than the the high bitrate OGG. Keep up the great work

We said the higher quality mp3 was much better than the low-quality mp3 while the high quality ogg was moderately better thant the low quality ogg. More people are voting for the ogg file. If that's what you guys want that's what you'll get.

OGG all the way. My Samsung YP-T7Z plays OGG so I only want OGG.
