What font, font size, colors do you use for your terminal emulators? I've been looking for a good combination which gets me 100+ columns and ~50 rows on a 19" monitor for my bad eyesight... suggestions?

I use monospace-regular-9 in a light grey colour (with a dark transparent background).

Call me retarded, but how do you change the colors for Xterm? I normally just use Konsole, or GNOME Terminal, which allow you to change settings via the menu.

You set colours, fonts, and such in XTERM with the command line... example: xterm -fa (fontname)

Reading the Man page for XTERM should help.

I usually just set them in .Xdefaults. Take a look at the resources section on the man page.

Not too bad on my 1024 x 768 resolution desktop.
