iPod hal/dbus/etc working again

After the upgrade to 2.6.16, my firewire iPod is popping an icon on the desktop again, in case anyone is interested. I've read several entries in mail lists, etc, where there was some doubt as to what caused the issue to begin with, but I'm guessing it was a combination of several things. I'm just grateful things are working again.
