I'm not sure if this is the "feature" that you guys were discussing on last Wed.'s show, but with XMMS you can fast forward with sound by using your left and right cursor keys.

Listening to your show right now, I can press the -> and hear or "scan" the content in fast speed.

Is that what you were asking about?

Close, I want to *play* it faster. Sort of like cueing it. XMMS skips ahead and I just want to play it faster.
