It depends on what your definition of "American" is. Most folks from the USA think of "America" ending at Canada to the north, and Mexico to the south. However, many folks beyond those borders still consider themselves "American," just not from the United States.

In any event, I've had a lot of "American Made" (by any definition) in my day, but I never tried to load an OS on that variety, and never worried a lot about having my "keystrokes logged."

This thread sure hit the gutter fast...

I don't understand. How is it any more of a security risk than a computer made in other countries. Even the Dells that are made here, have some (most) parts that are made in other countries that could possibly use hidden programs to spy on the United States. They just have to start keeping track on what goes into and out of the network, I guess :roll:
