For the last two days one couldn't log into http://www.suseforums.net.
It said something like "be back up shortly".

Now when I go to the site it says:

"This domain has just been registered for one of our customers!
Domain registration and webhosting at best prices."

In it's place I'm now using http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/ which seems even better. Being located in Germany, the home of SUSE, there is a lot of activity and experience.

Yeah, that's a great site, I've been on there for a while now.

One thing I noticed about that site, if you scroll down to the bottom and look at the board statistics: "We have 22,895 registered members"

Not that bad, sure Ubuntuforums.org has a lot more, but still almost 23,000 is still a lot.

I just ran into this: http://www.suseforums.net/index.php?showtopic=20171

"Late last week, the board got hacked. We've had lots of attacks, and most of the time they don't succeed. This guy was persistent...he kept at it until he beat us. We lost data, and the backups were compromised, so a lot of content is gone."

Sad news, looks like a Windows whiner or Apple whore don't want new Linux users to help with any problems they may have. Hey maybe the guy did it so he could use the old "Linux has no support" argument in his "Get The FUD" propaganda?
