Perhaps as a follow up to the twat about compiling that Dann did.
Ubuntu specific setting up the compiling environment. What build essentials actually installs. Explanation of all the different linux, linux-restricted, modules packages. What is required after the auto update installs a new kernel.
Maybe creating your own .deb packages for ubuntu. Mythtv would be a great example package to work with.
Just thought those would be some great topics for twat episodes, I know I would love to understand completely how to make my own .debs for mythtv on dapper.
