Jokosher info - not for Slackers =)

Since I'm the one that brought up Jokosher in the IRC last night, I thought I'd give some more info for anyone interested in trying it.
The current install instructions on http://www.jokosher.org are a bit vague, but there's more detail on the Wiki here. There are links for specific Debian and Ubuntu instructions. Most of the stuff can be obtained with apt-get. It runs with the latest Gstreamer packages, but you can't get full functionality without running some CVS stuff. Instructions are here. They tell you how to install CVS Gstreamer alongside the stable version without breaking anything.
On Fedora, you can get new enough versions of Gstreamer from the testing repositories (yum --enablerepo=updates-testing), but might want gnonlin from CVS.
Jokosher is currently pretty new, but it at least works, and will be ready for a 0.1 release in a few weeks. The code is literally updated and improved daily, so if you want to see what a few people can do in Python in just a few months, check it out. It's moving very quickly.
