"European Union regulators are "studying" a consumer complaint that Microsoft Corp. forces computer makers to sell machines that are preloaded with Windows, excluding other operating systems such as Linux."

I think I'll do a prayer before I go to bed tonight, for the EU to actually do something about this. :D

Shit, they're only steps away from fining Microsoft almost 2 BILLION dollars, for antitrust violations, and now this creeps in.

[PIPEDREEAM] Wouldn't it be awesome if Steve Balmer got so pissed off that he just said "NO MORE DOING BUSINESS IN EUROPE" and just paid everyone of the thier customers a million dollars to end contracts and then they were outta here.   [/PIPEDREEAM]

Sounds like fines are going to happen and worse they're being back dated. M$ could see an initial fine of 400 million Euros:

"no company is above the law"

such a novel concept - now if America could only remember this.
