I am a long time listener of TLLTS, and I didn't notice a disturbing trend of TLLTS until I downloaded a past episode of TLLTS featuring eric raymond. I noticed that Linc is really really quiet in present episodes. In the eric raymond episode, Linc is really animated and spoke at length on all issues. This is in stark contrast to present episodes where we would be lucky to even get even one issue discussed at length with Linc. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I really enjoy hearing Linc speak and the show is really uncomplete without Linc ! ( Heck the show is called The Linux
LINC
tech show ) So what gives guys ?!

That's because Linc is too busy admiriing himself and pounding away on his keyboard. That, plus he is probably watching TV while the show is going on or doing something else in his house. Again, I think it is admiring himself. as he has a full size mirror right next to his computer. If you ever go over to his place, he will sit there and cast quick glances into the mirror then smile slyly. If you leave the room and come back you can catch him blowing kisses to the man in the mirror. It gets really creepy.

Sometimes he prints out his bashpodder script and hold that up the mirror; then starts rubbing the paper and drooling. That is a sight to behold. Soon after he starts dancing around his living room with the paper then disappears down the hall. When I saw this behavior I quickly exited his place, not wanting to see what happened next. It was probably pretty disturbing.

Well, in reality there are a lot of reasons. Sometimes I need to do the show remotely, and on those days it's very hard to get a word in sometimes due to the huge lag that happens occasionally. During those times I tend to sit back to try and help cohesion a bit. There are a few times where I really have not felt well, there are times where I haven't had time to talk because someone else had something important for them to say, and it seems lately that there have been a plethera of guests and or topics that I am not necessarilly "into".

Varries from day to day, but right now I am trying to impliment some security surrounding my daughters computer usage and I am poking around my easyarch script. I also do php/mysql programming for a living, so I am always interested in that.
