I listened to the last show and tried signing up for expert exchange to get the so called free answers but it did not allow me to sign up without first providing my credit card number. That really sucks. Prolly I am just doing things wrong ? Did you guys try to sign up sucessfully to that site ?
Anyways, there's a free alternative to expertexchange and it's called linuxquestions.org ! Heh !

If you look at the sign-up page there's a notice in the bottom left corner that's titled "Earn your membership" and a link titled "read more..." . Click on that link and it will let you sign up as an 'expert' which doesn't require a CC.
