I am catching up on shows and I have just listened to the one last week and I thought it was really good

It was interesting to hear how apple treats its community of developers.
I never knew apple was like that - I thought they treated people better - but it was good to hear it first hand.

On another note I have been using xgl that has come with suse 10.1 and I am really getting use to it and how it works - it is not only eye candy but I like the way it organizes the desktop. also I have made kde and gnome the same colors and now when I use either environment and I use an app from the other environment along with compiz you cannot tell that the app is from the other environment sweet desktops unite!

I don't know maybe I am wrong but my desktop is pretty seemless between kde and gnome and you really can't tell what I am running unless you know the apps and what toolkit they were written with.

anyway - I am really liking the suse 10.1 desktop. so kudos to suse.

and that was a good show last week - keep on churning them out!! and stay cool this heat wave that is hitting the united states is brutal. we had a storm 2 to 3 weeks back that had wind gusts up to 92 miles per hour - a strong level 1 hurricane and it knocked out over 700,000 thousand home's power and trees everywhere - my neighbor needs a new garage - I was without power for four days and having 100 degree temps - brutal - just brutal - anyway - getting back in the pattern of life and trying catch up on the shows - so now I am just one behind - keep them coming!

Wow that really blows. (pun intended :) ). It got to around 97.5 degrees in my room the other day because I have no air conditioner (just a box fan) on the second floor and it really sucks.

And yeah I loved episode 150, I was shocked at how the Mac community is but come to think of it everytime I see them on the vast internet they are flaming something. I am just surprised it has taken this long for someone to say something about it.

You should read the book On The Edge to learn more about Apple's business practices and what Jobs is really like. Let's just say, I'm in no way an Apple fan and reading ths book as confirmed my suspicions.

thanks - I think I will - somebody else mentioned to me something about that book too. I usually read something totally unrelated to my job when I read a book - like the last one I read was the davinci code. but I think I will give it go and see - I always knew commodore had some influence over apple and microsoft but I never knew to what extent.

thanks,
