Has anyone ever tried this distro before? It seems like it's a cross between Slackware, Gentoo, and Arch, which looks very interesting. According to their website, It's optimized for i686 like Arch is, although it uses a ports system instead of Pacman.

If i remember correctly this is the
ancestor of archlinux.

I think I'm going to give it a try on my old P4 system. Slack 11 is going on the laptop.

I ran crux on PPC about 2 years ago. It was a pretty solid system. I don't think I ever ran it on x86. Give it a shot!
