How is the show encoded?

Did you guys change anything for ep 158? The show I downloaded claims to be 38 min and change. This is the first time I've had this problem with one of your shows. Are you using VBR? Do you have a valid XING header?

That's odd, because I encded it the same way I encode every show using lame.

If you want, I can run it again, put it up on another server and you can download it and let me know if the problem still exists.[/i]

No, I'm trying to figure out if the Amarok guys are correct about broken VBR being the problem with their podcatcher, but it doesn't matter anyhow since I wasn't able to reproduce the problem. I deleted and re-downloaded and it shows up fine. I guess it's time to start bugging the shit out of the pauldotcom guys. THei mp3s are the absolute worst, which is surprising since Twitchy is a linuxhead. A gentoo linuxhead, even.

Did you listen to the broken show all the way to the end? Was the whole show there? Last week I had truncated files because I got ahold of a bad mirror and had to re-download directly from the TLLTS archive. This would make sense since you got a good file the second time.
